This aviation shoot was especially…special. My favorite time of day to shoot during this half of daylight savings is around 4pm. I can shoot for about 2.5 hours with the skies getting more and more dramatic. This Piaggio is plane #2 in a series of 5 that I have to do for Banyan, located at the Executive Airport in Ft.L. These pictures were taken just minutes before a downpour. But in my many years of working with natural lighting in Florida’s most unpredictable weather is that clouds are your friend. Most clients will worry at the last minute when they see any darkness hovering around, but I reassure everyone to relax. Trust me, “If you don’t like the weather in Florida, just wait 5 minutes.” Sure enough it cleared up after I got these dramatic shots.
